Good morning everyone.

What a blessing it was to see Eli and Angel in church yesterday, God is doing a wonderful work in their lives! Please continue to pray for them and the rest we’ve mentioned.

Our devotion today is called, ” What is success? ” Galatians 6:14 says, God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Most people would think of success as being wealthy or having a degree of some sort and maybe that is some form of success. But at the end of your life I don’t think you’re going to be going over how much money is in your bank account, or any of the many cares of this world that can choke out the gospel of Christ. The greatest success that any person can have is having a great walk with the Lord. What is success? It’s giving your life to the one who created you, and then glorifying God in your life. Paul said in Galatians 6:14, God forbid that I should glory in anything else. I can brag about my beautiful home, but someday someone else will live in it, or I could brag about my possessions but someday someone else will own them. If we are truly successful we will realize that the only one to boast about is Jesus Christ, the one who saved me from a life of ruin and delivered my soul from hell! Jeremiah 29;23-24 says, Thus says the LORD; let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the LORD. What is success? It is knowing God.
