Good morning everyone.

May our Lord be glorified today in our lives, Amen and amen. Thank you for your prayers for Eli, Angel, Raymond, Jesse, and Marty and Mary. Please continue to pray for healing for all. And one more to pray for, Leila Quiros, for her heart to heal, her daughter passed recently.

Today’s devotion is called, ” Man Can’t Live ” Deuteronomy 8:3 says, So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD. The children of Israel were much like us today in that they were always looking to things other than God for their satisfaction. God says, He allowed them to hunger. Sometimes we have to be brought into a place of hurting before we can really draw close to God. After Jon Courson lost his wife and some years later his daughter, he said he learned to trust God with everything he had. God will take us into places we do not know so we can look to Him for our help, Hebrews 4:14-16. And maybe, just maybe, whatever God has allowed to be removed from you is now with Him, OR, God knowing all things knew that you needed to get your eyes off something else and put your eyes on Jesus. One thing is for sure, God never does anything to hurt us but always to help us. Jesus quoted this verse in Matthew 4:4 when He said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Man Can’t Live without God and with God mankind shall live forever, John 11:26.
